​In-depth Workshops

Would you like to deepen your experience and broaden your discoveries concerning your preferences and movement patterns? Then you can participate in one of my thematic In-depth Workshops filled with a combination of Movement, Dance, Play and Mindfulness. These three hour workshops ar filled with movement expression, interspersed with moments of reflection. I make each workshop on the basis of a theme, with the individual participants in mind. 
The opposite of Play is not work... the opposite of Play is depression.

Scientific research indicates that playfulness is of extreme importance for adults. It reduces stress, increases your pain tolerance level, makes you more attractive and enlarges your neuroplasticity (or flexibility). The same is true for movement. 

This is why my In-depth workshops are characterized by light playfulness. During the workshops, slowing down, relaxing and getting out of your head and into your body are pivotal. You don't need any 'skills' to participate. After all, we all move all the time. Everything is permitted, nothing is 'wrong' or 'right'. Everyone is welcome.
'Yesterday was very inspiring and sociable. Beautiful about the workshop is that it contained elements that you can use 'seperately' in daily hectic life. Not floaty, but down to earth. A highlight for me was the vocal circle, it gave me goose bumbs. Another highlight was 'the wave', also terific!' ​

Dates in Spring 2020: 
  • March 7, 14.00 - 17.00 hr: Compassione for your Body
  • 18 april 14.00 - 17.00 hr: Take Space
  • June 6, 14.00 - 17.00 hr: Balance in Body and Business
Location: Yin Yang Balance, Van Alphenstraat 2, Voorburg
Price: 35 Euro (3 hour workshop)

​It is not 'strenuous' to participate

​A workshops lasts 3 hours and has a warm-up, an In-depth part and a conclusion. There will be a tea break.   

You will not be moving non-stop. The workshop will have built in moments of rest and reflection. Regularly we will work in turn and watch eachother. On top, the workshops will contain short meditations or mindfulness excersises. You will have the opportunity to share your experiences (if you wish to do so). 

Everyone will work within their own limits and possibilities. Experience or skill is not necessary. You can move already.
